Indications
ANTACID: Relieves: heartburn, sour stomach, acid indigestion. LAXATIVE: Relieves occasional constipation; generally produces a bowel movement in 1/2 to 6 hours.
Directions
Shake well before using. AS AN ANTACID: Do not take more than 12 teaspoonfuls in 24 hours. Do not use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks. Adults and children 12 years and older: 1 to 3 teaspoonfuls with water, up to 4 times daily. Children 6 to under 12 years: Ask a doctor. Children 2 to under 6 years: Ask a doctor. Children under 2 years: Ask a doctor. AS A LAXATIVE: Drink a full glass (8 oz) of liquid with each dose. May be taken as a single or divided dose. Adults and children 12 years and older: 2 to 4 tablespoonfuls. Children 6 to under 12 years: 1 to 2 tablespoonfuls. Children 2 to under 6 years: 1 to 3 teaspoonfuls. Children under 2 years: Ask a doctor.

Warnings
Do not use: for longer than one week; when abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting are present. Ask a doctor before use if you have: kidney disease, noticed a sudden change in bowel habits that lasts over 2 weeks. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are presently taking a prescription drug. This product may interact with certain prescription drugs. Stop use and ask a doctor if: symptoms last more than 2 weeks; you have rectal bleeding; you fail to have a bowel movement after using this product. This may indicate a serious condition. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
