Indications
Specifically designed to speed blood flow and help reduce the chance of DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) by providing precise graduated compression up the leg. Compression is tightest at the ankle and gradually diminishes up the calf. Interrupted band minimizes stocking slippage. Enhanced design helps maintain compression and circulation. Contoured seamless construction promotes comfortable fit without constriction. Defined heel pocket for easy sock placement. Latex free. Non-sterile.
Directions
Precautions: Proper size and application must be assured. 1. Measure upper thigh circumference at the bottom of the buttocks. Do not apply if over or equal to 25" (63.5 cm). 2. Measure calf circumference at the greatest width to determine size. 3. Measure distance from bottom of buttocks to bottom of heel. If possible, measure length in a standing position. Large regular: Calf circumference: 15-17.5", length: 29-33". Wear: 1. Insert hand into stockings as far as the heel pocket. Grasp center of heel pocket and turn stocking inside out. 2. Carefully position stocking over foot and heel. Center heel in heel pocket. 3. Pull stocking up and around ankle and calf, working up to the final position. The stitch change (change in fabric sheerness) should fall 1 to 2 inches below the bend of the knee, and top band rest on line at bottom of buttocks. Smooth out any excess material. Care: To preserve life of stockings, launder every three days. Keep the stockings free from substances such as ointments, oils and lanolin which deteriorate elastic. Normal washing procedures may be used with either hand wash or machine wash with cold water using a delicate cycle. Hang or lay flat to air dry. Avoid contact with chloric bleach.
Warnings
